I think these Battlestar Galactica propaganda-style posters designed by Quantum Mechanix are a really fantastic example of smart licensing. Whereas most of attempts to do this kind of thing are foiled by brand managers who insist on slapping a huge logo right where it doesn’t belong (hello Napoleon Dynamite’s “Vote for Pedro” tees), these demonstrate what you can do when you allow the product to be true to the property. QM are the same people that did the “How to Spot a Cylon” poster that was making the rounds of the ‘net recently.
